Depending on availability, your road trip in Albania will be behind the wheel of a Nissan X-Trail 4×4 or a Mercedes-Benz LM. Both vehicles are reliable and comfortable, built to handle Albania’s mountain roads and tracks while still being enjoyable for everyday driving.
Your vehicle comes equipped with a rooftop tent with a built-in mattress, which you can access safely using the ladder. Once set up, it gives you a comfortable, elevated place to sleep, away from the damp ground, so you can wake up to Albania’s landscapes.

Accidents happen quickly. That’s why we recommend adding damage coverage to your booking. It costs €37 per day per vehicle and covers the vehicle whenever you or another driver from your group is behind the wheel (please note: damage caused by negligence to camping gear is not covered).
If you do not choose this option, you will need to pay a €1,000 security deposit before departure. In the event of damage, a maximum amount of €3,000 may be charged.

The vehicle assigned depends on availability at the time of booking. Both vehicles offer a similar level of comfort and equipment for your road trip.
You cook outside using the supplied gas stove and cooking equipment, set up on your camping table.
The vehicle is equipped with a 12 V refrigerator and a cooler to keep your supplies fresh throughout the trip.
Showers are available at each of the campsites booked for your trip.
A standard Category B driving licence is all you need. You must be at least 21 years old and have held your licence for at least two years.
The vehicle has USB ports inside and a cigarette lighter socket, so you can keep your phone or camera charged throughout the journey.
You’ve got plenty of options! Your vehicle comes with a fully equipped kitchen kit, so you can prepare your own meals along the way. You’ll easily find supermarkets and local shops where you can stock up. If you’d rather put your feet up and let someone else do the cooking, you can also eat at restaurants on the campsites or discover small local spots nearby.
You’re completely free to spend the night wherever you like. However, a campsite is reserved for you every night as standard.
No, setup is quick and easy with the ladder provided. We’ll explain everything during the briefing before you set off.

All our cars in Albania have automatic transmission. However, if a replacement vehicle is needed or a vehicle suffers exceptional damage, you may be given a manual car. Please let us know if your driving licence only covers automatic cars.
