Welcome to Albania!

You can pick up your car between 2 PM and 5 PM in the city of Tirana, near the airport. After a brief briefing, you'll head towards Berat. So, you can enjoy your first evening wandering through the streets of Berat and its fortress.

Once you've had your breakfast, you'll set off to explore the old town of Berat, nicknamed "the city of a thousand windows," with its white facades and Ottoman architecture.

History buffs can then travel back in time by visiting the archaeological park of Apollonia, founded in the 6th century BC, where ancient ruins and medieval heritage coexist.

Next, head towards Vlora, with a stop at the Monastery of St. Mary, before arriving at the Albanian coast. And for the more adventurous, this is where the excitement takes off: a paragliding flight over Vlora to admire the sea and mountains like you've never seen them before.

Your day will end in a peaceful campsite, out in the countryside, for a night in the heart of nature.

After your night in the countryside, you'll hit the road for a day filled with discoveries along the Albanian Riviera.

First, you'll take off on the famous Llogara Pass, a spectacular road offering beautiful views of the Ionian Sea. The hairpin turns will take you up to over 1000 meters in altitude!

Then, you'll discover two of the most beautiful beaches in Albania: the stunning Dhërmi beach with its crystal-clear waters, followed by Gjipe beach, a true hidden gem nestled between the cliffs.

In the afternoon, you'll make a stop at the Porto Palermo Castle, a triangular fortress overlooking the sea, a testament to the military history of the region.

Finally, you'll head towards Ksamil, where you'll settle in for the night.

Your fourth day will begin in the heart of the Butrint archaeological park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. This exceptional historical site will immerse you in over 2500 years of history, featuring an ancient theater and a Byzantine baptistery.

In the afternoon, you will head to The Blue Eye, a fascinating natural phenomenon. This deep blue spring, nestled in a lush forest, will amaze you with its mysterious beauty. Your day will end in Gjirokastër, a museum city with stone roofs. It is next to this historical town, known for its impressive fortress and traditional houses, where you will spend the night.

For your fifth day of adventure, you'll leave the museum city of Gjirokastër to discover another facet of local history.

You'll start with Ali Pasha's aqueduct, an impressive 18th-century structure that still showcases Ottoman civil engineering. Then, it's off to Permet, a charming town nestled between the mountains.

In the afternoon, it's action time for those who booked the rafting activity: a great opportunity to experience the Vjosa River up close as you navigate its rapids. Don't worry if you’re not rafting; the river also invites swimming in various spots along its course.

The day will wrap up at a peaceful campsite, not far from the Greek border.

On this sixth day of your trip, you will head to Korçë, a cultural city known for its unique architecture and bohemian vibe.

After strolling through its picturesque streets, you'll continue on to Pogradec, a seaside resort located by the beautiful Lake Ohrid. This tectonic lake, one of the oldest in Europe, will provide a stunning setting for the end of your day.

You can spend the evening by the lake and be captivated by the beauty of the landscapes.

On your last full day in Albania, you'll first get to enjoy the morning serenity of the Lake Ohrid and its shimmering waters.

In the afternoon, you'll dive into the vibrant atmosphere of Tirana. Those who wish can explore the Albanian capital: its large Skanderbeg Square, museums, or lively cafés.

You'll spend your last night at a peaceful campsite near the city where you can swim (and even taste the homemade wine and Raki from the owners!), a perfect chance to reflect on all the wonders you've discovered during your trip in Albania.

Unfortunately, it's time to head home after this unforgettable week-long road trip in Albania... You'll need to return your car between 8 AM and 10 AM at the location where you picked it up.
