The travel booklet contains all the necessary information for a successful visit to Albania.
The complete itinerary is outlined. You will pass through the most well-known places in Albania, but we will also guide you to hidden, lesser-known spots that aren't yet on most tourist guides' maps. We provide suggestions for stops, but you're free to follow them or add your own stops.
It also includes a series of unique addresses where you can grab a drink or a meal in the evening.
We offer a fully mapped 7-day road trip, so it is not possible to adjust the duration and itinerary of the trip.
Of course, you are free to extend your trip on your own initiative by staying a few extra days in Albania afterwards or by traveling to another country.
Albania Nomads has been specially designed for groups of 2-3 people.
Want to go with more than 2-3 people? It's possible, but you'll need to form several small groups. Each group must register separately and will be assigned its own vehicle. Feel free to contact us in advance to check availability.
Unfortunately, our road trip is not designed for solo travelers. That's why we recommend traveling with at least 2-3 people.
Additionally, prices are always calculated based on 2-3 people. It is possible to do the road trip alone, but in that case, you will need to pay double the base price.
Within 5 days of your registration, you will need to pay a deposit of 35% to confirm your trip. After that, you have until 45 days before departure to modify your options and pay the balance. If you change your options, the total amount will be automatically recalculated.
If you haven't opted for damage coverage, you will also need to pay a security deposit before departure (more info in the insurance section).
There are different payment options. Did your payment fail? It’s probably due to an error when entering the reference number or exceeding your account limit.
You can still cancel your trip. Check our cancellation conditions or discover our ultra-flexible conditions valid until 01/03/2026.
During your trip, you will find all the useful information in our app.
Additionally, just before your departure, you will have access to a chat in the app with all the participants departing on the same date. In this chat, you can communicate with each other. If you have any issues, our car partner and a team member will be available to assist you.
The planet offers us so many beauties to admire, but if we want to be able to do so in the future, we need to protect it today. That's why we are making extra efforts to reduce the impact of our travels, and through the booking form, you can reliably contribute to a climate project by Greentripper, which helps offset the CO2 emissions from your transport.
By contributing to their certified project in Uganda, you help distribute more efficient cooking stoves that significantly reduce fuel consumption. This initiative involves 11 local projects that protect vulnerable forests from deforestation, improve family health through better indoor air quality, and boost the local economy by creating jobs. The project is Gold Standard certified, ensuring the highest international standards for environmental integrity.
If you choose to make a contribution for the emissions from your transport, Travelbase will also contribute more for the on-site emissions. After your trip, you'll receive an official carbon credit certificate.
